Presumably that only happens if you assign permission to indiviual procs rather than 

&lt;code&gt;GRANT EXECUTE ON db.* TO &#039;user&#039;@&#039;host&#039;&lt;/code&gt;

Still, obviously something to bear in mind when you&#039;re editing procs in this way.
